Please note that due to university closures (e.g. between Christmas and New Year, closures due to repairs, special events) and annual renovation work/inventory, there is no entitlement to a refund or ticket extension!

From the direction of Bochum

• A 43 to motorway junction "Wuppertal-Nord"
• A 46 to exit "Wuppertal-Katernberg" (No. 33)
• follow the signs to "Universität"

Coming from Dortmund

• A 1 to "Wuppertal-Nord" junction
• A 46 to exit "Wuppertal-Katernberg" (No. 33)
• follow the signs to "Universität"

Coming from Düsseldorf

• A 46 to the exit "Wuppertal-Ronsdorf/Cronenberg" (No. 31)
• on the expressway immediately turn right towards "Wuppertal-Ronsdorf", then through the "Kiesbergtunnel" onto "Viehhofstraße"
• follow the signs to "Universität

From the direction of Essen/Velbert

• B 224 to "Sonnborner Kreuz"
• Take the "Wuppertal-Ronsdorf" exit
• through the "Kiesbergtunnel" onto "Viehhofstraße"
• follow the signs to "Universität"

Coming from Cologne

• A 1 to exit "Wuppertal-Ronsdorf" (No. 94)
• B 51 direction "Wuppertal-Mitte/Wuppertal-Ronsdorf"
• after 1.5 km turn left towards "Elberfeld (Blombachtalbrücke)"
• straight ahead, over the flyover past the water tower, follow the priority road and follow the signs for "Universität" (2nd exit).
