In 2020, the Fédération Internationale du Sport Universitaire (FISU) (International University Sports Federation) developed the "FISU Healthy Campus" certificate to set an international benchmark for physical health and mental well-being on university campuses around the world. Health is to be understood holistically - fitness, mental health, nutrition as well as social responsibility and sustainability.

As part of the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games, ten adh member universities will now have the opportunity to undergo this certification process. The University of Wuppertal's UniSport is one of the lucky winners.

As a special highlight, the certificates will be presented in a festive ceremony during the Rhine-Ruhr 2025 FISU World University Games.
